Brand new face filters are all over people's Instagram stories right now, revealing which characters they are from Disney films, The Simpsons, and other media. A new Toronto-centric Instagram face filter has joined the group, revealing which TTC line people are. The filter, created by Toronto native and designer Rob Shostak, cycles through numerous TTC lines above a person's head before revealing either a streetcar or Subway line. Shostak shared the filter on his Instagram, along with a filter he also made that reveals which New York subway line you are. While there are plenty of options for subway and streetcar lines that you could end up being, it wouldn't be a TTC face filter without a few unpleasant surprises. In addition to being given an actual transit line, people can also end up with results like "sorry... not in service" or "short turn." Shostak wrote in the comments of his Instagram post about the filter that he hadn't added bus lines to the possibilities only because there were too many. Although he did note that he might add some if he has time. Even TTC staff members have tried out the filter just to see what kind of results they end up with. BTW we have short turns down to less than 5% on all streetcar routes. Insta filter by @Robonto- try it out!" I should really be Line 2 but this one is fun.
