Police are still on the hunt for 2 people who they say were responsible for placing an Improvised Explosive Device in a Mississauga restaurant last week

The explosion injured 15 people but no one was killed and all the victims have been released from hospital.

Today Peel Police gave an update on the search that included a bit of new information.

They now say that they have reason to believe that one of the two suspects could in fact be a woman.

Peel police superintendent Rob Ryan made the announcement at a press conference today.

Supt. Ryan didn’t identify which of the two suspects police say could be the woman.

Police do not yet know the identities of the 2 suspects they are looking for but Supt. Ryan urged the public to come forward.
