Nearly seven months have gone by since Alyssa Turnbull was reported missing to the Ontario Provincial Police.

That's why they've decided to offer a reward of $50,000 to anyone who provides information leading to locating Turnbull or to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for her disappearance.

OPP West Region took to Twitter to share the call out.

The OPP describe Turnbull as 5'3" with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes, although they add she may have coloured her hair brown or red.

She was last seen in Nipigon, Ontario at the end of March.

In May, a 26-year-old woman who disappeared from a Quebec movie theatre nearly two years ago was found in Windsor

Police said at the time that she had been using an "excellent quality" fake ID to prevent her from being found.
