Parts of the province are in for some stormy weather this Monday. Environment Canada has announced that an Ontario tornado watch has been issued for parts of the province and people may need to take cover. Environment Canada The areas of Shelburne, Northern Dufferin County, Bruce Peninsula, Sauble Beach, Tobermory and more are all currently under this watch. Environment Canada warns that "conditions are favourable for the development of funnel clouds and possibly brief, weak tornadoes." Thunderstorms are also expected to hit the area and residents should take cover immediately if the weather turns threatening.
