It seems that with summer coming to an end, Ontario's COVID-19 cases have started to climb once again.

The province is reporting over 400 new infections on Friday, according to Minister Christine Elliott.

Of those 401 new cases, 130 are in Toronto, 82 in Peel, and 61 in Ottawa — the three regions that have been most affected by the disease.

Elliott says that 67% of these are among people under the age of 40, compared to 70% on Thursday.

It is the highest daily increase Ontario has seen since June 2, according to Newstalk1010.
