In case you were wondering how Toronto athletes live their life, you can now get a glimpse inside Patrick Marleau's house as the Maple Leafs forward officially put his stunning $11.8 million mansion up for sale. This five bedroom, seven bathroom masterpiece makes you wish that you had taken up hockey as a career. The house even features an ice rink, where you know Marleau practices some of his moves.

Listed on RE/MAX Premier Inc. by Paula Carrascalao, the asking price for Marleau's house is $11,888,000 and it's located on Mildenhall Road in Toronto. The two-story family home is located in the Bridle Path-Sunnybrook community and is described as an "exclusive cottage feel in the heart of the city".

The house has a variety of mansion-like features including a library, eight fireplaces (yes, I said eight), a swimming pool, heated floors, and a 13 car garage. If you thought it couldn't get any better, you're wrong.  The house even backs onto a 'breathtaking' ravine.

If you look closely throughout the show photos of the house, you can even notice some Maple Leaf merch spread throughout the house. One bedroom showcases a Toronto Mape Leafs throw pillow and the outdoor ice rink even features the iconic blue maple leaf in the center.

Let's start with the outside of the house. The pool, the ice rink, and the cottage feel already makes me want to become an NHL hockey player and pack my bags. Being able to sit poolside all summer, and skate all winter makes this home the perfect year-round residence.

Then, of course, there's the interior, which somehow is even more stunning the outside of this mansion. The modern kitchen is a place where you would be able to cook all day (or have your personal chef cook for you), the library is the perfect place to cozy up with a book, and that deep tub in the bathroom would be amazing. Not to mention those floor to ceiling windows.

However, according to the Toronto Star, Marleau's house hitting the market may not be good news for the team. The Star states that this further proves the hunch that the 39-year-old forward will be playing for another team next season.
