Peel Police are asking for the public's help in identifying some people on motorcycles who allegedly "swarmed" officers using during a traffic stop in Brampton on June 28.

According to a press release, at around 2:20 a.m., Peel Police were doing a traffic stop on a motorcycle by Highway 407 and Airport Road. 

Unknown individuals driving motorcycles swarmed the officers to prevent them from conducting their duties.

At that point, officers say they were swarmed by other motorcycles in an attempt to prevent police from proceeding with the traffic stop.

Police didn't disclose further information, such as why the initial stop was made and whether there was a connection between all the motorcyclists.
