People In Hamilton, Markham, Etobicoke And Scarborough Have Reported That They're Being Chased By Wild Turkeys
You would think that living in the Greater Toronto Area you'd be safe from wild animals. You don't really picture the city as a place where you're suddenly going to come face to face with anything other than a racoon or squirrel.
But for people in the suburbs of the city, coming face to face with some wildlife can apparently be a bit of an issue. A video posted online today shows a man in Brampton being chased down the street by a wild turkey.
The bird in the video appears to be relentless in its pursuit of the man, even after he picks up a stick and waves it at the bird. We can see that the bird continues to follow him at he runs away.
The reason why the turkey was so intent on following the man remains unclear, perhaps it just wanted a friend?
Apparently this isn't an isolated incident, there have reportedly been issues with animals in other suburbs such as Hamilton, Markham, Etobicoke and Scarborough experiencing the same thing.
The video of the whole interaction is only a few seconds long but makes for absolutely terrifying watching. You can check it out below.
