The Power Is Out In Several Parts Of Toronto And You Could Be Next
More extreme weather is on the way.

Following yesterday's powerful snowstorm, extreme weather continued into the night, causing power outages across the GTA.
Heavy gusts of wind brought down a number of trees across Toronto neighbourhoods, resulting in widespread power outages and even damage to property as trees toppled onto power lines and cars.

The power outages that have occurred so far have affected regions including Vaughan, Etobicoke, East York, Brampton, and Bradford. As of 5:46 this morning, Hydro One noted that they were working to restore power to over 59,000 people who were without.
With heavy rain and wind expected again tonight, GTA residents might need to prepare for another possible power outage.
