This morning, legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones announced that they’ll be playing an outdoor show in Ontario this summer, their one and only show in all of Canada on their 2019 tour. The Rolling Stones are set to take the stage on June 29th at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte, Ontario. The same outdoor venue where Wayhome Music Festival is held.

The Stones have been on an extensive tour which kicked off back in 2017 in Germany. The "No Filter Tour" was due to come to end in Chicago on June 25th before the Canadian date was added, landmarking yet another massive tour for the clearly "forever young" rockers.

The tour also happened to be one of the most successful between 2017 and 2018, with an insane attendance of 1,506,259 fans and a haul of  $237.8 million. The setlist for the tour has been wild - the band has covered over 45 songs of their songs throughout the gigs, which consists mostly of fan-favourites with a few curve balls thrown in for the die-hards.

If no future dates are added, the Stones could very well be set to end off their last tour in Canada, which would be amazing.

The Stones first started playing back in the early '60s. Since then, both Mick Jagger and his musical partner Keith Richards have been celebrated through the decades for putting a thrilling live show which is seemingly unaffected by the duo's age, who are both now in their mid 70's.

Those in Toronto looking for an adventure this summer should rally up the squad and head out to the see the Stones. It could be your last chance!
