On Tuesday afternoon, the Toronto Police Service Gun & Gang Task Force executed a search warrant in the city's downtown core. Six young suspects between the ages of 22 and 31 were arrested at the scene, and are facing multiple charges related to the investigation.\nThe search took place in the Entertainment District, at Front Street West and Spadina Street. Task force officers located and seized two loaded handguns, a .45 calibre and a 9 mm at the downtown property.\nHere's a photo of the seized firearms, provided by the Toronto Police Service:\nVia TPS\nEach of the suspects face a minimum of six charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of ammunition, and failing to comply with prohibition order.\nThe suspects are from all over the Greater Toronto Area, including Brampton, Richmond Hill and Mississauga.
