This Incredible Ski Resort A Few Hours From Toronto Will Be Opening Next Week For Ski Season
Get your skis and snowboards ready!
Snow lovers, the moment you've been waiting for all year has finally arrived - The slopes at Mont Tremblant will officially open for its 2016/2017 ski season next week.
Mont Tremblant is located in Quebec's Laurentian Mountains and takes around 6 and a half hours to drive to from Toronto. It was recently declared the best ski resort in Eastern North America by SKI Magazine for 2017, and for good reason. Aside from the resort's massive snow hills for downhill skiing and snowboarding, it also offers a variety of fun winter programs like cross-country skiing, helicopter tours, horseback riding, ice-climbing, ice fishing, skating, paintball, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and tubing.
At the base of the mountain lies a cute Pedestrian Village where you'll find everything from cute shops, cozy lodges, restaurants and even a casino. Whether you're a die-hard skier or you're just looking for a place to experience the best that winter has to offer, Mont Tremblant won't disappoint!
On November 24, 2016, visitors can make their first runs of the winter season. Passes can be purchased online on their website. See you there!
