Halloween - the only day of the year when you have a legitimate excuse to look ridiculous in public. But, even on October 31st, it's hard to be taken seriously if you're doing your job on a Wednesday morning with bright lipstick and face paint. Especially if you're a police officer.\nToronto Police Constable Randall Arsenault shared a selfie at just after 7:00 AM this morning of his Halloween look. He opted for the classic Joker costume, with his face completely made over and his hair painted green while still in his officer uniform. "Dressing up for #Halloween is so overrated, and Cops aren’t supposed to make kids cry. Isn’t there a Snapchat filter for this?" Arsenault wrote in the caption.\nBut, the part of Arsenault's costume that Toronto is clearly finding the most amusing is the carefully-applied lipstick.\nDressing up for #Halloween is so overrated, and Cops aren’t supposed to make kids cry. Another commenter called Constable Arsenault's lipstick "pretty," which was definitely not the intention.\n"Did Pappy get U with the lipstick again? LMAO," someone else wrote, referring to Arsenault's fellow-officer, Constable Kyriakos Papadopoulos.\nHallowe’en, really?! My guess is that is your “after being trapped in the car by geese while eating lunch look?!?!”\n— copsunlimited.ca (@copsunlimited) October 31, 2018\npic.twitter.com/EZAKwkX5lY\n— Anees Wahla (@Aniswahla) October 31, 2018\nDid you eat too much candy?\n— Jill Davis (@Jdavis_Halton) October 31, 2018\nTo be fair, he did get a lot of praise for the look, and we've got to give him credit for sacrificing a bit of his dignity in the name of Halloween spirit.
