Police are issuing a warning to parents on Tuesday after a York convenience store sold edibles to teens. The store, which was located in Markham, Ontario, had reportedly been selling illegal cannabis products that look like candy to underage customers. According to Ontario Provincial Police, individuals under the age of 19 cannot attempt to purchase cannabis products. It is unclear at the moment what charges the store's owner is facing. However, it's not the only case being reported this month. The OPP charged a Quinte West resident after their three-year-old consumed a "dangerous amount" of edibles. The cannabis product looked almost identical to a pack of sour Skittles.
