Five men and one woman were taken to hospital for serious injuries after someone opened fire in a Toronto bakery shooting early Wednesday morning.

This incident occurred just after 2 a.m. at Spence's Bakery on Eglinton West, Global News reports.
"This is a very brazen shooting at this hour of the night with no regard whatsoever for any kind of safety," police said to the outlet.

The bakery was open and full of patrons, some of which were taking cover from a thunderstorm that was ongoing.
All the victims are expected to live as of Wednesday morning.
Police believe they may be looking for more than one suspect and are asking the public for their help to identify them.
