As days go by and Torontonians are stuck indoors, social distancing can get pretty depressing. And, honestly, we can't imagine what it's like without a little furry friend to keep you company right now. Well, Toronto Humane Society adoptions may have moved online, but the shelter is still looking to find homes for its (almost unbearably) adorable residents.

Now could be a great time to adopt a floofy companion. If you're ready for the commitment, of course.

And trust us when we say that this adorable list of available pups, kittens, and friendly critters will have you wishing you could adopt them all.

"Toronto Humane Society is calling on adopters or fosters who are interested in some of our TLC animals ('tentative love and care') or animals with health considerations that are up for adoption/foster," THS spokesperson Hannah Sotropa told Narcity in an email.

"We have a number of animals still in need of homes, including our special species. These include bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, and even a bearded dragon."

If you're unable to fully commit to adoption, you also have the chance to foster a pet for an extended period of time.

So get ready for the cutest list you'll ever see. You never know, you might just find your perfect new long-term companion.

What a fine coat of fur Mein has, if we may say so. And imagine those blue eyes looking up at you.

Just look at that playful smile. Be still, our beating hearts.

Another little guy who's feline ready to settle down. A perfect cuddle buddy for those daily cat naps!

Hugs & Kisses

This duo come as a pair, and were two of the 47 dogs rescued by shelters (including THS) after being found in horrible conditions. Their transformation is unbelievable!

Not your typical furry pet, but the Netflix and chill potential is off the scale! (get it?)

Just look at that face!

Don't let the eyes fool you, this little tiger's full of love.

What? Sorry, we got lost in Scottie's eyes for a moment there.

It's only right this handsome guy should be named after a god, right?
