7 Stores Still Open For In-Person Shopping In Toronto & Peel Right Now
Not everything is in lockdown.
As the province continues to battle with COVID-19, thehave closed stores across the regions.
However, those selling groceries, hardware and other essentials items are still able to remain open.
Due to this, most small businesses have been forced to resort to curbside pick-up. Yet, big box stores remain open for in-person visits.
Advising regions to move into a lockdown is not a decision we take lightly, but it is one that is needed to ensure the safety of the people of Peel and Toronto.

Some spots that remain open for in-person shopping include Walmart, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Mark's.
Grocery stores such as Metro and Costco, as well as pharmacies like Shoppers all also remain open in the GTA.
As you can imagine, the huge advantage this gives to the province's mega-marts has upset small business owners.
The issueby both Doug Ford and the mayor of Mississauga this week, criticizing it as "unfair" that these shops can still sell non-essential goods.
In fact, Mayor Bonnie Crombie is even calling on big box stores to stop selling non-essential items, like televisions and clothes, that are in their stores.
