Toronto Will Get Up To 4cm Of Snowfall & Freezing Temperatures This Week
Winter is coming!
Winter is creeping up on us a little earlier than anticipated this year. Meteorologists are reporting that all cities in the Golden Horseshoe will be getting snow this week, and Toronto is no exception. The Toronto snow forecast has got us looking at around 4cm this week, according to The Weather Network.
You might want to dig out your scarf and mitts this week as the Weather Network is predicting that snowfall is in the forecast. The GTA will get less than 1 cm on Wednesday, November 6 which will be a mix of rain and snow, while the daytime temperatures will be at around 4 C.
The flurries are expected to arrive around late afternoon and will continue on into the evening.
Thursday is when the bulk of the snow will be falling, according to the Weather Network. Snow is expected to arrive in the morning and throughout the day, moving eastbound from Hamilton and into the GTA. Overall it is predicted that up to 3 cm could fall on Thursday. Meaning that Toronto could be hit with up to 4cm of snow throughout the week.
It looks like it is officially time to start thinking about snow tires and boots, and we can't believe it's here so soon.
Friday is looking better across the board, with sunny weather forecasted by all weather outlets, and temperatures sitting at around 1 C highs and lows of around -4 C. Saturday is looking relatively clear as well.
However, the snow will be back as Sunday can expect some flurries, with highs of 3-4 C and lows of -1 C, according to The Weather Network. Environment Canada is predicting a 60% chance of flurries on Sunday.
The only two days we can expect no flurry activities are Friday and Saturday, so at least the weekend is looking pleasant.
We can't believe that freezing temperatures are already here. Even if the snow doesn't last long, it looks like we got the ball rolling for the winter season.
