Wintery weather is headed to Toronto as temperatures begin to drop to subzero values. Brett Anderson, the senior meteorologist at Accuweather, says the snow will be a result of an oncoming arctic cold front that will make its way to Southern Ontario this Thursday. The weather system will bring colder temperatures and light snow to the region, including Toronto. "Temperatures are going to steadily fall later in the afternoon and as that front moves by, we do expect snow showers to break out across much of Southern Ontario up through Eastern Ontario later in the afternoon and through the evening,” he said. Accuweather's forecast for Nov. 9 shows a period of snow showers throughout the afternoon and a "snow squall" with a "rapid freeze up" in the evening, with temperatures in the negatives (-7 degrees C). Between 4 to 8 cm of snow is predicted, and such is expected to remain as a light covering on the ground through to early Friday morning. For more information, visit Accuweather's website.
