When it comes to transit in Toronto the TTC offers over 70 subway stops and hundreds of bus routes. Not only that, Ontario's capital also has a fleet of streetcars that help get commuters to get from point A to point B. It is also the highest ranked North American city on the list, meaning that it placed last in all North American cities. @transitmaniakembedded via The news is slightly ironic considering last year the TTC was awarded the best transit system in North America and it even stayed in the top three spot for 2018. One of the main issues facing the TTC is the lack of funding given to public transit. Former CEO, Andy Byford, is now currently in New York working with their transit commission. The data looked at 74 cities across the globe.
