He has played for six different teams. Meeks is known for being a strong shooter and has a career 37.2-per cent shooting average from beyond the arc, according to Raptors Rapture. "A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Meeks owns career averages of 9.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 22.6 minutes in 533 games (204 starts) with Milwaukee, Philadelphia, LA Lakers, Detroit, Orlando, Washington and Toronto," says the NBA in their news release about the signing.
