Toronto's Cavalcade Of Lights Opens In Just One Week
Mark the date! 📆🎄

You'll want to mark November 25 down on your calendars, because next Saturday is the annual Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square!!
This year, the city will be lighting up Toronto's official Christmas Tree in the centre of Nathan Phillips Square. Adorned with a ton of Christmas lights and decorations, the Cavalcade of Lights also includes musical performances by Canadian artists and a massive fireworks show that will begin at 8:30 p.m.
And the organizers of the annual event have also released this year's schedule of performers and ceremony festivities, which you can check out here.
Highlights of this year's schedule include a Skating Party with music played by a guest dj, all of which is FREE!
Last year's Christmas tree theme was a white spruce that stood at nearly 18-metres tall, with 700 individual ornaments and about 525,000 energy efficient lights that lit up Nathan Phillips Square.
This year's tree has already been selected and takes nearly 2 weeks to decorate which means the process will begin soon and we can't wait to see what this year's theme is!
The 51st annual Cavalcade of Lights begins at 6 PM, and no need to purchase tickets; this event is entirely free of charge! But arrive early because it's always insanely busy!
