A neighbourhood that's known for its glimmering lights is going dark this Christmas.
Twitter today that it is shutting off its lights in support of the lockdown.announced on

Both the lights of the grandand canopies will be shut off.
They are set to remain off until the end of, which is scheduled for January 23, 2021.
The area is known for the annual, which was unable to take place this year due to safety regulations.
Instead, the Distillery District transformed into a dazzling winter village featuring lights and holiday cheer.
The event was scheduled to run throughout the winter season, but it will not be looking as bright after today.
