Toronto Commuters Are Raging After Another Chaotic Morning On The TTC
TTC riders are furious after another morning of prolonged delays.
Delays on the TTC's subway network are nothing out of the ordinary. If you took Toronto's transit system to work this morning, chances are you were late - again. Commuters are getting tired of theand service disruptions that plague the city's transit systems endlessly.
Just this morning, as Toronto residents piled onto the subway and into streetcars and buses, riders on Line 1 Yonge-University were informed of delays due to signal problems that ultimately cancelled service between Lawrence West and St. George stations.
Although shuttle buses were routed to try to manage the crowds, chaos inevitably ensued. Confused and frustrated riders criticized the TTC for their lack of efficient communication about each delay, which kept them in the dark about why their trains were delayed.

There were also delays on Line 2 due to a medical emergency.
If that wasn't bad enough, the TTC also issued an announcement that Line 1 Yonge-University was having issues with its PA system. How are you supposed to check for service announcements online whilst stuck underground without service, may I ask?!
