Toronto police responded to reports of a shooting at a residential building located on Caledonia Road near the Lotheron Pathway just after 9:00 AM Tuesday morning after receiving calls from concerned residents who claimed to have heard gunshots.\nPolice at first reported that they had discovered two victims at the scene, a male and a female, neither of whom had any vital signs. However, the status of those victims was later altered to “serious injuries” as the two were taken to the hospital.\nPolice have yet to give any further details on the shooting or the suspects as officers are still at the scene investigating.\nOver the weekend, police detained 25-year old Joshua Maier-McKenzie after he fired into a Danforth-area bar following an altercation with another man at the pub.
