Two cases are being managed by the Region of Waterloo Public Health, and the other two by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.

Anyone who may be a high-risk close contact will be notified.

Deborah MacLatchy, president and vice-chancellor of the university, has said that although precautions have been taken by the school, everyone must do their part to stop the spread of the pandemic.

“We’re counting on our students to do their part to prevent the spread of COVID 19 by avoiding gatherings and following public health guidelines,” said her statement.
