York Regional Police Issue Amber Alert For Abducted 5-Year-Old Ontario Child
Jannah Jaffri, 5-year-old Ontario girl abducted in Greater Toronto Area.
Update as of 5:59 PM EST on March 19: According to Amber Alert Ontario, the missing child has been located and her father has been arrested.
Late this afternoon, an emergency amber alert was issued for a five-year-old child, Jannah Jaffri, who is missing and reportedly abducted in Ontario. The amber alert was issued in the GTA by York Regional Police. The missing child was reportedly abducted today from school.
The amber alert was sent out only minutes ago, alerting locals to be aware that a young girl is missing. The victim, Jannah Jaffri, is suspected to be with Soloman Jaffri, her father.
Soloman Jaffri is described as a 25-year-old man, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with an average build and short brown hair. He's also described to have a tattoo of his daughter, Jannah, on his right arm. He's said to be wearing a dress coat and black cargo pants.

As stated previously, the suspect is said to be the father of the victim. They were last seen getting into a Beck mini-van taxi. The Beck taxi was seen travelling northbound on Coppard Avenue in Markham, Ontario.
While the amber alert was tweeted out nearly 30 minutes ago, the alert was sent to locals via cell phone "emergency alert" only a few minutes ago.
The emergency alert describes Jannah as being five-years-old, 4 feet tall with short brown hair and brown eyes. She's said to be wearing a white tank top, grey leggings, navy blue coat and a white unicorn backpack.
