Photo cred - National Post Have you always wanted to own a little piece of everyone's favourite former mayor? Because now is your chance! Councillor Rob Ford took to Twitter last night to let us know that he was auctioning off some items on eBay, including what appears to be the football tie (pictured below) he wore during his now infamous crack confession. According to the eBay description the tie is "the original piece, not a reproduction — there is only one of these in existence," and already sits at a whopping $2,125. New items up for sale on eBay! http://t.co/v5V8UDk9Qo http://t.co/4RhDuFEJQX http://t.co/bt5L4niker http://t.co/sDOMCTcJqn— Councillor Rob Ford (@TorontoRobFord) February 25, 2015 Also available is a pretty basic “keep calm and carry on” poster, what appear to be an old pair of pyjama pants, and a Saskatchewan Roughriders Jersey. All of the items are received a high number of bids and sit at pretty impressive auction numbers. Ford made an announcement earlier in February that he planned to auction off some of his stuff in an effort to raise money for liposarcoma research, the rare form of cancer that Ford himself was diagnosed with last year, ending his run for re-election. He plans to donate 10% of the proceeds made from the eBay auction. In all seriousness, we do hope Councillor Ford is doing well during his ongoing battle with cancer and send him all the best!
