This article was originally published on October 8, 2018. A woman had a terrifying experience on a public bus in Vancouver on Thursday. A man assaulted her while she was taking the night bus at 2 AM. She recorded the whole incident on her phone, and when he saw her recording, he aggressively tried to take the phone away from her–which was also caught in the video. He was then asked to get off by the bus driver. The video then shows the suspect pulling up his pants and walking towards the exit. On the way out, he asks the woman if she has money for him. When she says "No I have nothing for ya," he curses her out, saying "Stock, you dumba** b***h." He then exits the bus but hits the glass window beside her. But it doesn't end there. It gets more terrifying–he gets back on the bus after and starts yelling at her and cursing her out. Then he is seen trying to take the phone away from her and the whole fight to grab the phone is also recorded. Check out the full video below: Aubertin said that after what was shown in the video, she chased the man to take her phone back from him, then went home and told the police about the incident. The police are now investigating the incident.“The suspect tried to forcefully grab the complainant’s phone and assaulted her in the process. The complainant retained her phone and was not injured. The suspect left the scene and was not identified," said Const. Jason Robillard in an email to Global News.
