There has been another COVID-19 exposure on a Canadian flight. Officials are recommending that passengers who were aboard the recent Air Canada flight self-isolate immediately.
The flight travelled from Kelowna to Vancouver on Monday, July 6. Someone onboard the flight has since tested positive for the virus.
Is the flight number in question
In a Twitter post by the BCCDC on Monday, July 13, health officials asked passengers aboard the flight to self isolate for 14 days, starting after the flight landed.
After Friday, March 27, the province no longer directly contacts passengers who sat near confirmed cases — it's up to passengers to check online.
All passengers of the flight are asked to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
