If you haven't been following Vancouver real estate lately, let me give you a quick rundown. Recently, a variety of condo owners have been offering free incentives in attempts to draw in millennial homebuyers. Now, one Vancouver developer has just taken the incentive one step further by now offering Vancouver homebuyers free wine for a year.

Since Vancouver's housing and renting market has some of the highest prices in Canada, a lot of residents are struggling to afford a place of their own. This has led to a lot of units remaining empty and both condo owners and landlords are offering incentives in hopes to stand out from the crowd.

Wesgroup Properties, the developer of Mode is now offering homebuyers a free glass of wine every day for a year if they buy one of their condos. While sipping free wine every day out of your brand new condo doesn't actually seem like a bad life to live, there's, unfortunately, no personal butler to bring you the wine every day.

For those who purchase a condo from Mode, they will receive a $1,500 gift card to Everything Wine, which averages out to a glass of wine per day.

However, this isn't the only thing that the condo is offering. For a limited time, Wesgroup Properties will also offer up to $20,000 off the initial condo price along with your wine gift card. Not to mention, the condos also look super luxurious.

This isn't the first condo to offer incentives like this in Vancouver. Just last month, another condo developer was offering homebuyers free avocado toast for a year. Much like Wesgroup Properties, Kiro Project was offering a gift card to a local restaurant with enough money on it to order avocado toast one day a week for a year.

While incentives like free wine and food sound like a pretty good deal for the homebuyer, the deals get even better when it comes to renters. Due to a lack of tenants, multiple Vancouver apartment owners are actually offering free rent.

With a quick search on Craigslist, Vancouver renters can find a variety of apartments that are offering the first month rent free if they sign a lease. Some other apartments are also offering free parking for six months on top of free rent.

So, if sipping free wine for a year out of your condo sounds like a life that you want to live, you can check out the Wesgroup website here.
