This Vancouver Hotel's Construction Sign Is So Sorry! Really Sorry!
As Canadians, we are used to being stereotyped. For the most part, our stereotypes are good things, although we don’t all live in igloos. Lots of people and businesses will tend to use these tropes in order to market and, for the most part, it works. The latest marketing tactic has to do with a Vancouver construction sign that is so Canadian it hurts.
There are some things that are just so And while these are wonderful stereotypes to have, the one that stands most out is our politeness., including beavers, Tim Hortons, and hockey.
One construction sign from the YWCA is using this stereotype to their advantage and is actually apologizing for the noise they're making. Unsurprisingly, it's gotten quite a bit of attention on the internet.
The sign is for the new YWCA Social Enterprise Hotel in Vancouver. Since the photo was posted on October 17, it's gotten 6,000 upvotes on Reddit. Clearly, people can't get enough of it.
“CLANG! Sorry! CLANG! CLANG! Really sorry,” says the constriction sign outside of the YWC Hotel in Vancouver.
The sign also states that they are sorry about the noise as they are building more rooms to help “even more single moms and families.”
The YWCA Hotel offers services for youth, women, children, and job seekers. They do this through mentorship, programs, and housing. Their adorable sign not only makes the noise more forgivable but also serves as a reminder that it's for a good cause.
The lovely people of Reddit have all the best responses to the YWCA sign.
All the more proof that Canada is known for its niceness. We’ve when Kawhi came into Vancouver on Thursday night, the city showed him some northern hospitality with.
Even Drake has been caught being.
Sorry, not sorry.
