Officials say the suspect appears to have acted alone and confirmed they are “still looking for potential additional victims.” Sergeant Frank Jang from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed to Global News that the suspect was alive, following reports from the scene that the man was injuring himself with a knife. The suspect is known to police and has a criminal record, although reports suggest his motive for the attack remains unclear.
