We all know that pulling out your phone to answer a text or call someone while you’re diving is never a good idea. Not only is it illegal but it also puts you, and everyone around you in danger. But there are some people who just can’t seem to resist it. You see them every day driving and talking on the phone or looking at it during a red light. It makes you wonder where they got their divers license. One guy in Vancouver though took distracted driving to a whole new level. @tnhsoembedded via The man was caught by Vancouver police with not one, but two screens attached to his steering wheel. Yes, he had to have both his phone and his tablet attached to his steering wheel while driving. Vancouver police thankfully stopped and ticketed this incredible multitasker before he could cause serious harm to either himself or someone else on the road. @turntineinsuranceembedded via He somehow managed to only get off without a serious ticket too. He was only fined $81 instead of the $368 ticket that a distracted driving offence officially gets. Hopefully he’s learned his lesson since then though. You can see the tweet sent out by the Vancouver traffic unit with a photo of the set up this guy had on his wheel below. It really is quite incredible that someone would think driving like that would be a good idea. Can't make it up. Guy had iPad and cell phone attached by strings on steering wheel while driving! Yes, that's his ticket he's holding. pic.twitter.com/h5WoA2ac87— VPD Traffic Unit (@VPDTrafficUnit) November 15, 2017 Source: National Post
