According to a new ranking by Mercer, Vancouver was just ranked as one of the best cities in the world for quality of life. Mercer, one of the biggest human resources consulting firms in the world, has released their annual "Quality of Living Ranking" for 2019 on Wednesday, March 13, and Vancouver has made it onto the list.\nREAD ALSO: Canadian Businessman Arrested Along With Celebrities In Ivy League University Bribing Scandal\nVancouver was named the third best city in the entire world for quality of life standards for 2019. It was the only Canadian city to make it onto the top 10 ranks. Not only that, but it was also the only city in North America named in the top 10 list. Vancouver has consistently been the highest-ranking city in the continent over the past 10 years, says Mercer.\nREAD ALSO: BC University Ranks Among Top Sugar Baby Schools In Canada\nVienna, Austria took the first place spot on the rankings for the 10th year in a row and Zürich in Switzerland ranked second on the list. They analyzed over 230 cities around the world.\nEven though other Canadian cities didn't make the top 10 list, they were recognized for having a high standard of safety. "In North America, Canadian cities continue to score highest with Vancouver ranking highest for overall quality of living, as well as sharing the top spot with Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Calgary for safety," stated in their news release.\nHowever, that wasn't the case for the rest of North America.
