If you haven’t noticed, the southwest corner of Burrard and West Georgia has been covered in orange wrapping paper for months. Orange wrapping paper with Hermés ribbons, to be exact. After months of waiting, the highly anticipated new Vancouver Hermés location has officially opened its doors. The massive space is stylish and elegant, just like you’d imagine.\nVancouver’s new Hermés retailer is located at 717 Burrard Street and opens from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. And wow, you really need to see it for yourself.\n“Nearly 25 years ago, we opened our first store in Vancouver, and today we're proud to unveil an enhanced retail experience that finds inspiration in the striking landscape, quality of living, and strength of spirit that defines Vancouver,” said Jennifer Carter, President and CEO of Hermès Canada in a media release.\nThe chic space was designed by Parisian architecture firm, RDAI, who focused on the store's surroundings in Vancouver for inspiration. According to the media release, the beautiful two-story building is meant to evoke feelings of both land and sea.\nWe are so excited about this new addition to Vancouver's downtown for a number of reasons. For one, it's facade is truly beautiful, adding a new charm to its corner. Furthermore, Hermés is an icon in the fashion and design space and they are using our city for inspiration in both this new location and some of their new designs. It's pretty special.\nHermés Canada\nHermés Canada\nWhen you first enter, you will find jewelry, watches, the silk universe, and a perfume discovery area.
