In just a matter of hours, it will officially be the Thanksgiving long weekend. This means we will have three glorious days off to do whatever we want. While most things close on the Monday of the long weekend, there are quite a few things in Vancouver remaining open and operational. Instead of finding out the hard way, we created a list of what's open and what's closed on Thanksgiving Day in Vancouver.\nSunday is for relaxing with family and friends and eat that long-awaited turkey dinner.\nWhen all that is said and done, you may want to hit the town on Monday. Be warned that many businesses, especially small ones, could be closed on the holiday Monday.\nBut don’t worry, there will still be plenty of things open on October 14, 2019.\nFrom grocery stores and shopping malls to movie theatres, there are quite a few places open around Vancouver on the holiday on Monday.\nLucky for you and your visiting relatives, a lot of tourist destinations will also be open so don’t worry about cramming in everything to do in just two days.\nIf you find yourself coming out of your turkey coma and itching for something to do, these places will all be open.\nHave a wonderful Thanksgiving!\nHere are all the practical things that will be open on holiday Monday:\nSafeway \nSave-On-Foods\nUrban Fare \nWalmart\nLondon Drugs\nSome pharmacies\nHospitals and emergency services\nBC Liquor Stores; some will be open but with reduced hours so be sure to call\nView this post on Instagram A dream!!
