Did you take a train trip between Quebec and Ontario on March 14 or March 15? You might be contacted by Canada's national rail service. A VIA Rail employee's COVID-19 test came back positive after they worked on the Quebec City-Windsor route.\nVIA Rail got confirmation that an employee had tested positive for COVID-19 on March 23 and released a statement on March 26.\n"The employee is being monitored by public health authorities, is in isolation and VIA Rail continues to follow-up directly, hoping for a prompt recovery," said Cynthia Garneau, president and CEO of the transportation company, in the statement.\nOn March 14 and March 15, the employee worked onboard four trains along the Quebec City-Windsor corridor, 61-44-643-68, but wasn't showing any symptoms at that time.\nTrain 61 goes from Montreal to Toronto with six stops in between those two destinations. Number 68 travels between Toronto and Montreal with four stops along the way.\nTrain 44 travels between Toronto and Ottawa with eight stops in total.
