We are in tears because of how cute the Winnipeg police's new service dogs are.

When we say dogs, we mean absolutely tiny puppies.

According to a tweet from the police service, the litter was born on September 1 and they have now been welcomed into the "in-house breeding program."

"The puppies and mother, Police Service Dog (PSD) Ellie, are all doing well!" said the tweet.

Apparently, this is the first time a litter has been bread through the program using artificial insemination.

"The process has allowed us to combine the highly sought-after traits of former PSD Judge and PSD Ellie."

Basically, they made sure the pups got the best of the best from both of their parents to make sure they are in tip-top shape for their future jobs as K9 service dogs.

These puppies will carry on the legacy of their dad, Judge.

We don't know about you, but we'd happily take any of these babies home.
