At the beginning of 2021, more employees than ever were working from home in Canada.\nAccording to Statistics Canada, "3.1 million Canadians were working from home temporarily in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as of February 2021."\nEditor's Choice: Canada Is Considering New Work-From-Home Labour Laws To Protect Your ‘Right To Disconnect’\n\nAs it turns out, 90% of people working from home said they were as least as productive as they were in their previous work settings. In fact, 32% said they were actually more productive. \nFrom the same study, 80% of respondents said they would like to continue working from home post-pandemic. \nThe one industry that stood apart from the rest was education. Over half of the teachers who were surveyed said that they prefer doing their work outside of the home.
