A New Brunswick woman's obituary is getting a whole lot of attention and the second you read it, you'll understand why. Written by her son, well-known political cartoonist Michael de Adder, Margaret Marilyn DeAdder was sent off with a whole lot of humour and even more love. Editor's Choice: Niagara’s Guinness World Records Museum Has Closed Forever & So Many Items Are For Sale “ Margaret Marilyn DeAdder, professional clipper of coupons, baker of cookies, terror behind the wheel, champion of the underdog, ruthless card player, and self-described Queen B*tch, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Michael de Adder The obituary, shared on Adder's Twitter, continues to say that "Marilyn loved all children who weren’t her own and loved her own children relative to how clean-shaven they were." Apparently, she was great at "giving the finger" and "taking no sh*t" as well as laughing at jokes. On the flip, she wasn't the best at "hiding her destain" or "putting her car in reverse." She was a big fan of tea and toast, according to the obituary. Though, that came at a price. "She burned many a teapot and caused smoke damage countless times, leaving her kids with the impression that fanning the smoke alarm was a step in brewing tea," the obit read. The raw, honest, and so profoundly loving obituary continues to say that Marilyn is survived by many who loved her deeply. This includes her brother, Lloyd, "who still owes her $600* (*inside family joke – sorry, Lloyd)." She truly sounds like the coolest woman ever. So, shall we start a petition to have Michael de Adder write all the obituaries from now on?
