Not only because he was born in Vancouver but because of how much he reps the country and has given back to local communities. However, it may come as a surprise to some that The Rock also has some serious Canadian roots as his father was born and raised in Nova Scotia. Over $23 million of the nearly $88 million Johnson made in 2020 was thanks to a film collaboration with Reynolds, Red Notice.* Another big chunk came from his Under Armour line, Project Rock, according to Forbes Reynolds took home over $20 million each for Six Underground and Red Notice.
