This Is What A $1,100 Apartment Looks Like All Across The GTA
Affordable spots all over the GTA.

Each region of the Greater Toronto Area is unique in its own way, so it’s not surprising that rent prices and overall cost of living tend to vary depending on which part you live. For example, if you’re living in a downtown Toronto apartment and you’re paying $2,000 a month rent for a one-bedroom, you’re more than likely living a normal lifestyle.
In contrast, if you were paying that much in Mississauga, you might be somewhere closer to the higher end of things, depending on your location.
It comes as no surprise that living in the 6ix can be expensive. According to a new study done in October, the rent of an average Toronto apartment rose to $2,500 a month, reaching an all-time high.
Of course, while some apartments throughout the GTA are much more expensive than that, you can also find some rentals on a cheaper scale.
However, buying a home isn't much better. It was also revealed in October that a condo for sale in the big city costs just as much an average Canadian home.
To further explore this idea of just how much bang your buck can get you depending on where you live in the GTA, we’ve decided to create a list of $1,100 apartments across a variety of Toronto neighbourhoods.
