The internet is exploding with laughter surrounding a recent photo that was posted and deleted by the Calgary Flames over the weekend. The photo included what we assume are accidental sexual undertones and was taken down after it was brought to light in an equally hilarious comment by the LA Kings. The Calgary Flames ketchup photo was not around for long, but some diligent screen-shotters managed to preserve it before it left us forever.

Twitter users began to share their screenshots on Saturday, October 5. The photo shows number 19, Matthew Tkachuk, facing hundreds of Calgary Flames fans in the sea of red, stick in the air, clearly in high spirits. Tragically, Tkachuk is positioned in the photo directly in front of a ketchup ad. His red gear blends perfectly with the horizontal red bottle making it look like the bottle is protruding from his pants.

As if matters couldn't get worse, the ketchup bottle is open and spilling ketchup out of the end. A tragedy, indeed. The post's caption read “C you soon, C of Red” followed by a flame emoji.

It's one of those things you simply can't unsee once you see it. The LA Kings clearly took notice of the Flame's Instagram blunder and replied in the most hilarious way possible. “He looks, um, *very* excited,” the Kings wrote followed by the cry-laughing emoji.

Poor Flames and poor Matthew Tkachuk. We feel their pain, but we also feel the Kings' cry-laughing emoji right in our hearts. Anyone who was blessed enough to witness the photo during its short time on earth has taken to the internet to share their witty banter on the matter. "Can’t believe the Calgary Flames deleted their ketchup erection post," said one Twitter user.

Responses included amazing puns like "They thought it was inappropriate, in Heinz sight," and "Consult your doctor if your erection is ketchup for more than four hours." Others posted comments commending the LA Kings on noticing the hilarious oversight and on their priceless response.

We're left to wonder if the Flames genuinely didn't notice until the Kings called them out. We are endlessly thankful to those who shared their screenshots with the world. Without people like you, the human race wouldn't have the pleasure of viewing accidental sexual undertones by NHL teams and that would be the world's greatest injustice.

If going to a Flame's game is on your bucket list this year, we hope this gives you extra incentive. You could be in the sea of red when one of these history-making shots gets captured. You could even be in the frame. You can't miss out on an opportunity like that.
