A Canadian tennis star is proving he's a jack of all trades. Denis Shapovalov's rap video for his single 'Night Train' officially dropped on Friday, August 21 and it takes aim at everyone who told him to "stick to tennis."

A promo video released on Twitter features screenshots of messages like "worst thing I've heard in 2020," "you're so overrated," and "this sucks" from some clearly supportive fans.

Shapo, though, doesn't seem to care, rapping about his success and sponsorships, among other things.

In fairness, he's got a lot to shout about. He's currently ranked 16th in the world, the highest-ranked male Canadian player.

Just last year, the Vaughan-raised 21-year-old rapped on the court after his victory against Marin Cilic, as per an agreement with the stadium's emcee Blair Henley.

Fast-forward a year, and he's dropped his first official release and even has a dedicated Instagram account set up for his music which has just under 600 followers at the time of writing.
