All eyes were on Kawhi on Wednesday as he stepped off MLSE's corporate jet in Toronto and was whisked away in a black SUV to his first free agency meeting with the Raptors. News choppers stalked him all the way to the Hazelton Hotel, where crowds of fans waited to greet him. Since the meeting room door closed, Kawhi Leonard news has come to a pause. Now, new insider reports are beginning to emerge. Fox Sports analyst and radio show host Chris Broussard tweeted on Thursday morning that the Raptors and Kawhi had a "strong meeting yesterday." As was previously reported by multiple sources, Broussard confirms that Drake was "heavily involved" in the process. Broussard says that the rapper "talked of having Kawhi involved w/his OVO record label," which could be quite lucrative for the NBA all-star. "Kawhi in deep soul searching. Wants Lakers but wants to make sure Big 3 will fit/work," writes Broussard. He says that the Clippers are "out" of the race. At this point, the Lakers and the Raptors are going head-to-head. Kawhi Update: Raptors had strong meeting yesterday. Drake heavily involved. Talked of having Kawhi involved w/his OVO record label. Kawhi in deep soul searching.
