We all known that embarrassing moment when you go to high five someones and they don’t even notice you, the feeling of humiliation can often linger long after the situation has passed. However, that humiliation is nothing compared to what Kyle Lowry must’ve felt after Kawhi Leonard blew him off like a total stranger after the Clippers defeated the Raptors on Monday.\nKawhi and Lowry were filmed sharing a hilariously awkward moment post-game at the Staples Centre earlier this week.\nIn the video, Kawhi can be seen walking off the court and into the locker room, shaking hands with a few people. When Lowry appears and goes in for an embrace, the Boardman responds by basically walking through his former teammate. I mean, I think the look on Kyle’s face at the end of the video really says it all.\nTo be fair to Lowry, Leonard is famous for moments like these. He was the orchestrator of more than a few awkward moments during his time with the Raptors, including that infamous pre-game warmup moment, which saw Kawhi leave Norman Powell hanging on a fist bump.\nOf course, fans did still have a field day with the Lowry moment.\nOne Twitter user even stating, "He probably was calling him 'Kevin' for most of the last season."\nWhile another stated, "I swear he is 99% robotic."\nHe probably was calling him "Kevin" for most of last season.— AC Fader (@AlexCrossFader) November 12, 2019\npic.twitter.com/u6SvQjQPVl— World Wide Wavy 🌊 (@Gov_Jo_204) November 12, 2019\npic.twitter.com/avx5pj8fZU— Chad Baker (@ChadBlue_) November 12, 2019\npic.twitter.com/k9LQJR3cgx— gry toyt (@BOGO4Corduroy) November 12, 2019\nKawhiborg 🤖— YNot (@YNot562) November 12, 2019\nHis face pic.twitter.com/435cK4rSNr— Norris Spivey (@studiospivey) November 12, 2019\nI swear he is 99% robot. pic.twitter.com/DkxZrkGVYy— Trav (@LakeShowFanatic) November 12, 2019\nKawhi did share a few heartwarming moments with teammates during the game. Including a touching post-game embrace with Stanley Johnson.\nThe former Raptor also ran back to check on his old teammate OG Anunoby after he accidentally poked him in the eye while trying to make a steal, I mean we have to take points off for the whole eye jabbing bit, but it was still pretty wholesome.\nHopefully, Kyle and Kawhi can get back together when the Raptors face the Clippers on their home turf in December. It would be nice to see the two interact under less cringe-worthy circumstances.\nThere are stories everywhere.
