Mark your calendars because you don't want to miss the biggest outdoor lights festival in Eastern Ontario this winter. Every year for Alight At Night at Upper Canada Village, the charming town turns into a magical festive wonderland filled with a million twinkling lights.

This heritage village is famous for its dazzling Pumpkinferno event during Halloween, where you can see 7000 glowing pumpkins. But their winter celebration, Alight At Night is equally impressive. This year, Alight At Night will take place at Upper Canada Village from November 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

For Alight At Night, all of Upper Canada Village will transform into the ultimate winter wonderland! There will be over one million lights covering the heritage buildings, trees, and fences to create a picture-perfect sight that looks straight out of a holiday movie.

Make sure to arrive with a warm coat to keep you toasty as you stroll through the village to admire all the colourful lights. While you're there, you can enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate, or visit the bakery for some tasty freshly-baked treats!

You can also board an illuminated train for a delightful ride around the park. Before you go home, you'll want to check out the Village Store where you can find all sorts of unique Christmas gifts, too.

Alight At Night makes for a super romantic date spot to bring your partner! To enhance your visit, you can book a private 30-minute horse-drawn carriage ride for two. It costs $92.10 based on double occupancy. As a bonus, they will also give you sparkling apple cider and some delicious bread and cheese for the two of you to share.

Tickets for Alight At Night will available to purchase soon on the Upper Canada Village's website for $16 a person. Your entry ticket also includes a free ride on the train, a group horse-drawn wagon ride, and the chance to see Santa.
