12 Calgary Patios That Are Total Staples For Summer
Because beer tastes better on a patio.

Warmer temperatures are finally here, and we're excited as HECK. It's got us dreaming of sunny summer afternoons on the patio, but you know what? Why dream when you can go and experience it? Yes! Patio season is here and it's time for you to get out on the town, bask in the sun, and start sippin' on refreshing drinks with friends.
For all you university folk who are finishing up exams, this is the perfect opportunity for you to go celebrate, so why not get a tan on a patio while you do it? Slather on some sunscreen and grab those sunglasses, it's patio season.
Here's a list of 12 Calgary patios that you definitely need to hit up this summer:
1. National
Where: 550 17 Ave SW

2. Julio's Barrio
Where: 1110 Memorial Drive NW
Although Julio's Barrio serves up summer all year round with their zesty Mexican food, they do it especially well on their rooftop patio in the warmer months. Our recommendation: You haven't truly been to JB's without having a their original "Bulldog".
3. charbar
Where: Simmons Building, 618 Confluence Way SE
Located in the historic Simmons Building beside The Bow, this rooftop patio definitely has the best views. Their Argentinian cuisine is to die for, and their selections of wine and cocktails are extensive. Our recommendation: their wood-fire grilled 9 spice half chicken.
