Stop melting. Some days the scorching sun can be more than we can handle. But it doesn't mean that you need to spend all day sitting in front of a fan. We've made a list of things to do in Calgary this summer that can cool you off if you can't handle the heat.\nInstead of wasting all of the hottest days locked up in your apartment trying to stay cool, we have better options.\nThere is nothing better than splashing into a pool of refreshing water. For the ultimate swimming spot, you'll want to check out Hotel Arts Poolside, which feels like a trip to Miami.\nOr you could always meet your BFF and go for a treat. For the latest summer treat, you have to bite into a unicorn cakesicle. It's better than ice cream.\nNow that it is patio season, you could always meet up for colossal frozen margaritas instead. Sitting under a shady umbrella, sipping your icy beverage, you'll hardly notice the sizzling temperature.\nIt is time to put on some sunscreen and your sunglasses. There is no sense missing out on making some fantastic memories.Whether you like to cool off in the water or hide where the AC is always on blast, you'll be able to stay chill easily this summer.\nSip Refreshing Bubble Tea\nAddress: Royaltea Calgary, 931 10 Ave. S.W., Calgary, AB\nWhy You Need To Go: You can get a super cute bear bottle of bubble tea perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day.\n View this post on Instagram @royaltea_calgary knows how to reel them in. As soon as I saw these bear cups I knew I wanted one 😅 we tried the Galaxy Mango Mousse Oolong and the Passionfruit Green Tea with Tapioca ! After mixing the galaxy drink turned into this milky colour. As pretty as this drink was, it didn’t taste the best. Kinda just tasted like milky water with a little tea scent. The Passionfruit drink was quite good! Stronger flavours than the other one. There menu is huge though so I’ll be going back to try some other stuff! We got these cakesicles by @8cakesyyc at @dontyellatme.ab! From left to right, we tried: 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧 (confetti), 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚, 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲, and 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨! Our favourites were the confetti, earl grey, and matcha! We found these flavours had more of a “cakey” texture which we liked whereas the salted caramel and mango we got were more on the doughy side. We also liked that they weren’t very sweet which we prefer. Overall, they are super cute and what you’d expect for cake pops! For drinks we tried their 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 and 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫. We loved how refreshing they both were! _______ 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 | $20 for 5 or $4.75/each 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 | $5.98 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 | $5.98 A post shared by Fatting around (@nomsyyc) on Jun 18, 2020 at 11:03am PDT\n\nWebsite\nPaddleboard The Bow River\nAddress: 5227 13 Ave. N.W., Calgary, Alberta\nWhy You Need To Go: At the Paddle Station you can rent SUP paddleboards, kayaks and rafts.
